Colony was a conclusive piece to the Swarms series, larger in scale and situated on a double door. Influenced by the movement and interaction of species in largely populated groups, and the movement and shapes they create. The process involved categorisation and repetative application of each individual jigsaw puzzle piece, as they symbolise individual segments that create the greater whole.
